OVERVIEW

This year, UTFR embarked on a new journey, the start of a single cylinder era. Despite encountering challenges, UTFR's pioneering spirit shone through. Powered by a Honda TRX 450 engine, the vehicle impressively accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds with a top speed of 180 km/h. Key to their performance was the composite monocoque tub with built in suspension pockets. The team also implemented a launch control on the DTA S60 engine management system and conducted dyno testing of brake performance. This transition to a light single-cylinder Honda engine (450 cc) marked a significant milestone for the team.
